Rise up has completely changed the way I see God in my own life. Leah has always been a safe place for me to come and seek answers to my {many} questions. After weeks with Rise Up I found myself craving this space more, it’s not only created a consistency in my faith that I’ve never had before but it’s trickled into my life and my family in the most beautiful ways. I found myself in a lonely spot where I didn’t have any friends nearby in person that were looking to grow their relationship with Christ. This community gave me a place even if virtually to connect with woman looking to be powerhouses for Christ. To my surprise these women were different ages, different ethnicities than me but in similar situations or had experienced similar life events as me. It was so comforting to hear & talk to real women experiencing real life & being open, honest & transparent about their walks in life with Christ. Where even 2 or more are gathered in Christ, Christ abides this group is a true testament to that ❤️

Being a part of Rise has caused me to do just that — rise as a woman of God, expand my faith, and appreciate who I am. When I first began I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know the impact it would have on my life. But the women of God I encountered challenged me to be who God has called me to be, without regret or looking back — and it was the best thing for my life.
With each meeting, Bible study, and conversation I walked away with broken chains and layers being shed. I'm definitely not the woman I was when I started. Rise has helped me define my purpose.
